Local writer Carol Borges blogs about a bill in the Tennessee General Assembly that would allow major TN cities to allow "companion dogs" in designated outdoor areas. As a dog lover, I think it's pretty cool, but it probably won't fly. For one, the details of the bill seem a little to complictated for there to be any kind of incentive to restaurant owners to allow pooches on the patio.
